Pop of Color!

My granny squares popping in white, lime green and red - I'm adding some non-granny stitches and hope to sew them together for a doily.

Or maybe I will continue making more to have a small throw.
I like the lime green color rather than the traditional darker green.  What do you think?

  1. I personally love the lime/citron green! It happens to be my favorite.

I just have to tell you- I love coming to your blog and seeing all the crocheting you've been doing. It has made me long for the days when I used to crochet--I linked you in this post--

I had lost all my hooks in an unfortunate accident (that being, I think they got thrown away in a wal-mart sack) I don't get to walmart much these days as the hubby is newly retired and we are slimming back some on the spending, but I've been restocking my supply of hooks. I splurge just a bit and buy a hook and once small skein of cotton thread.
I've been back to crocheting now for about a week making dish mops and dish cloths. I hope to make some matching hanging towels soon, too!

Do you make those? One towel makes two hanging type-towels they pretty up the kitchen too!

    Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. Love these Sandy! They would make a lovely Christmas throw with such a great POP of color!

Have a joyful Friday and weekend gal!!

  3. Beautiful colour combination.;) The lime green and the red set of each other so well.;))

  4. Hi Sandy,
Very happy granny squares! The lime green works very well can't wait to see what you decide on for the finished product!

  5. Sandy, your grannies are so pretty. Love the colors you are using. Hope your weather has calmed down and you are having a cozy weekend now.

  6. The lime green looks wonderful with the red and cream - I personally love it
