My granny squares popping in white, lime green and red - I'm adding some non-granny stitches and hope to sew them together for a doily.
Or maybe I will continue making more to have a small throw.
I like the lime green color rather than the traditional darker green. What do you think?
I personally love the lime/citron green! It happens to be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI just have to tell you- I love coming to your blog and seeing all the crocheting you've been doing. It has made me long for the days when I used to crochet--I linked you in this post--

I had lost all my hooks in an unfortunate accident (that being, I think they got thrown away in a wal-mart sack) ...so I don't get to walmart much these days as the hubby is newly retired and we are slimming back some on the spending, but I've been restocking my supply of hooks. I splurge just a bit and buy a hook and once small skein of cotton thread.
I've been back to crocheting now for about a week making dish mops and dish cloths. I hope to make some matching hanging towels soon, too!
Do you make those? One towel makes two hanging type-towels they pretty up the kitchen too!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Love these Sandy! They would make a lovely Christmas throw with such a great POP of color!
ReplyDeleteHave a joyful Friday and weekend gal!!
