Is there a "sweeter" holiday than Valentine's Day?
I don't have much to put out but I love all the Red and White!
I placed my Love & Heart Beanie Babies on our family room fireplace mantel.
Along with the three hearts I crocheted.
I hung my L.O.V.E banner I made over the kitchen sink.
My string of little red heart lights have been up since last year.
Hubby put in under the counter lights for me several years ago.
But I think the red heart lights adds an extra special look and I love them because they're red.
I put out my red heart night light too.
Love the beanie babies, Sandy, and I'm feeling inspired to maybe make a pretty heart wreath like yours. Some red felt and a wooden hoop might do it, right? Love the banners over the kitchen sink too!.. Hope you're enjoying this holiday weekend! ~tina
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
DeleteThanks for the sweet comments. I didn't make the heart wreath on my door but it's just a wire frame with stuffed red felt hearts attached to it and ribbons tied around it. I just made the white bow this morning to jazz it up. When you are retired every day is a holiday!!!! Enjoy yours.
Sandy
I do put out a little, post should be coming out soon. I love your banner. xo
ReplyDeleteI just realized my comment is a little .......fresh?? I do put out a little?? No way!!! Meant to add the words "heart decor"!! xo
ReplyDeleteYour page looks so festive and fun! And lovely holiday decor! I haven't done much yet--first I need to clean! Ever feel that way?
ReplyDeleteI don't usually decorate, but after seeing all that lovely red & white I may have to rethink that. Maybe I can start with some simple paper hearts...
