Easter Flower Wreath

I saw this pretty fake flower wreath in our grocery store this week and couldn't pass it up.

It was on sale for $24.99 marked down from $29.99.

Our new Easter Flower Wreath

So...how much did it cost us?

Nothing!

Not a cent!

When the grocery clerk rang up the wreath I heard her state it had the wrong price listed.  I was busy helping to pack our groceries so I missed what followed her statement.  When we got home my hubby told me the wreath was free.  "Why" I asked.  He said that the clerk advised if an item comes up with the wrong price then the item is "free" to the customer.

Now I don't know if that is the store's policy or not...it's the first time it's happened to us..but I think it's a great policy.

So...we have a lovely Easter flower wreath on our front interior door and it didn't cost us a cent.

Yippee!

  4. This wreath is lovely. So spring-y and Easter-y, all my favorite colors and flowers. I once received a microfiber mop from Wegman's for free because it was not marked with a price! I enjoy looking at all your crochet work. Is any of it for sale?

P.S. I am your newest follower. xo,

  5. Barbara F.,
I've never sold any of my crocheting. I've given some away to family and friends. I consider myself still a beginner and don't know if I would enjoy having to meet deadlines and figure out pricing and all that stuff. But it is sweet of you to ask and now my head is swelling that anyone would want to buy my stuff.
    Hugs,
    Sandy
