My Newest Teacup

Of course I had to buy a teacup while visiting the U.K. this Spring.

After visiting Hampton Court (posted here) we stopped in their gift shop where I spied this bone china beauty.

I love the turquoise color with the gold trim and lovely little pink roses.

And of course the crown.

After all this  is a Historic Royal Palace teacup.

I love it!

I told Hubby that it would fit in our suitcase without any problem.

And it did.. packaged so prettily in this little turquoise box.

We still can't believe we toured the beautiful countries of England, Wales and Scotland.

We feel very blessed.

Happy July 4th !

We're in Ohio spending the July 4th weekend with our brothers and their families.

Wishing all of my fellow Americans a wonderful 4th of July holiday and my friends all over the world a fantastic day.

Meet our new grandniece, Eva Claire, born June 30th.  She is beautiful and just the sweetie little girl.   I got to hold her  yesterday for the first time.
This is cute big sis, Hailey, holding her new little sis, Eva Claire.  A baby holding a baby.  Eva is so tiny just 5 pounds plus.
Two precious angels!
Great saying - we should all go to "our happy places"!

A Little Hearts Bag

HEARTS !

Start with pretty white fabric printed with little red hearts.

Add an embroidered design of hearts on both sides.

(Working on washing out the blue mark lines.)

Practice embroidering words of love.

And on the side (must multi-task) pick up a crochet hook and crochet another star design in rose and yellow....still one more round to crochet on this star.

All embroidery done in delicious red embroidery thread.

And I only broke one needle with this project.

LOL !
