Frogged It...

I tried undoing just the ends of the rows that were off. 

 But it didn't work so I frogged back EIGHT colors - all the way back to black. 

 That's them - the frogged yarn in the little eight balls of yarn along the side. 

 I'm re-crocheting them in a slightly different order than before. 

 This is why it better not to sew your ends in as you go along on some projects.

This may be my next project. 

 I loved this flower afghan and broke down and purchased the downloadable pattern on Ravelry yesterday.

I gathered together some of the Caron Simply Soft yarns I recently purchased that I think would look beautiful in this afghan. 

I haven't tried crocheting one of the flowers yet. 

 The pattern has lots of photos but no diagram of the flower. 

 I like written patterns with photos and even tutorial videos but I also like to see a corresponding diagram. 

 I'm more of a visual type of person.

This is what the Waikiki WildFlower afghan should look like. 

 Well, this beauty will have to wait until I finish my Rainbow Scrap Afghan.

Want to see two sweet baby cousins?

Errrr...Mistakes!

I'm adding some new hues and more rows of green and blue yarns on my...

 Rainbow Scrap Afghan.

Two nights ago I discovered my left edge was wrong. 

I had to frog five color rows back and redo them.

Just now I discovered my right edge is wrong. 

 Some how I've been slightly increasing the last few rows - errrrr!

"To frog or not to frog?" that is the question!

If you don't look at the edges it looks fine.

Where I Crochet

Maybe I should say "Where I make my piles"! 

 They follow me wherever I go.

Pammy Sue at Scotty's Place started this by showing how she crochets with all her stuff around her.  

My place is messier then yours Pammy Sue!!!!!!

I ran out of or low on some of the yarn I'm using on my Rainbow Scrap Afghan so yesterday off to Michaels I went. 

 Of course the selection was terrible as usual and the specifics colors I needed not available so I picked out colors in the hues I'm using as best as I could.

I didn't save the yarn labels but I could at least take samples of my colors with me to the store.

Sorry about the burry photos - you bloggers know the story - LOW light conditions!

 It is completely overcast here today...so dark I have to have the lights on in the middle of the day.

My piles are stretching out further and further into our family room. 

 My new yarn is on the floor and my original yarn is on the sofa.

Are you like me? 

Piles, upon piles all around me...and they seem to follow me everywhere...whether I'm in the car, our travel van or even sleeping.   

 As far as crocheting I need to lay out the yarns in order to select the next color hue.  

This afghan has so many colors in it and I'm switching them all the time so it is messier with more piles than usual.   

Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. 

We are still waiting for our new Lazy Boy chairs. 

 I'll miss having a sofa to set my yarn on.

I've started on another green and blue section and I'm going to make it slightly larger than the first two sections.

So where do you crochet?

Are you a neat freak or like me?
