Love London

We are here in England!

Jet lag hit me hard yesterday. I almost nodded off in the restaurant last night at 5 PM. I laid down at 7 PM and slept straight through to 8:30 AM today.

We had a lovely day today sightseeing on our own. Our tour guide gave us Oyster cards to use for public transportation. We took the London city bus 148 to the Churchhill War Rooms Museum, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. What a fantastic day!

We returned to our hotel and ate supper at a local deli. We love London. It's easy to get around because of the wonderful public transportation. Everyone is so nice and polite.

Tomorrow we join our pre-tour group for a trip to Hampton Court.

  5. Glad to see you made it across the pond safely. Happy travels and can't wait to see where you are going. Make sure to visit the local yarn shops now. Is there still a big LIBERTY of London store, which if I remember was pretty cool.
