I'm still working on my big crochet project - the 225 granny square throw - which has grown by another 18 squares when I added another color (I found RED!). update: Each granny square will be four rounds - first two are different colors, third is white and the final fourth round will be black - first blogged about (here). I have at least three fourths of the third round of white done - just a few sets left to do. I'm doing the dreaded ends as I go - so that slows me down - but I will be happy when I get to the final round of black and the majority of ends are done. I hope to post some WIP photos soon.
I'm leaving you with my Mosaic Monday of past crocheting projects of mine. You can see other great mosaics over at Mary's My Little Red House (here).
Have a Happy Mosaic Monday!

I'm a knitter so I don't really understand about your crochet terms but glory I'm thinking this will be amazing. 225 squares....wow.
ReplyDeletePretty crochet! I like the mosaic.
ReplyDeleteI need to figure out how to do this.
Can't wait to see your finished blanket
Ir is going to be a masterpiece when finished, you are so talented. I love all the colours, they seem so alive. Red is my favorite, just like yours.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a lovely weekend by the way. I could not agree more, I am looking forward not to have to go to work one day in the future too.;)

beautiful.
Congratulations on Kates giveaway! Well done.

That's a wonderful project! I don't crochet, probably because neither my mom nor grandma do. We all knit, sew and embroider (when we're not gardening)! Your squares are going to make a beautiful blanket!

I have a bag of completed granny squares that I did years ago. I think about bringing them out again every once in a while and completing a project of them but I cannot remember how to do them anymore. Hmmm. Valerie
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a crochet masterpiece isn't it ? good luck ! I noticed you won Kate's giveaway as well, perhaps you already have good luck !
