Fall Color & Thank You!

I want to thank all of you that have visited!  I am so excited to have visitors and such nice compliments this soon after starting my blog.  I am overwhelmed how quickly and warmly you all welcomed me!

My hubby has spent the better part of the day helping me with my blog.  Somethings I set myself without any problems but others I was lost and didn't have a clue.  For example, somehow I set my own blog as a Follower on my blog. If anyone out there knows how and where I can delete me as a follower of my own blog I would appreciate any help you can give me.  So far I haven't been able to figure it out.  Update:  Thanks for the tips I have corrected this problem.

This is a picture taken last Fall of our Mountain Green Sugar Maple tree in our back yard.  Aren't the leave colors just beautiful.  We missed the turning of the leaves this year because we were on an RV trip to Florida.

I plan in the future to share my small collections with you - thimbles, miniature china and tea cups.   And for those of you who crochet - you will have to sit through my WIPs (i.e., "work in progress").  My favorite time of the year is coming - CHRISTMAS!  I love to decorate!

Thanks again for making my day and thanks for all the birthday wishes!

  1. Sandy,
On the dashboard of your blog, scroll down to *blogs I'm following* click the *manage* button, and it will show the blogs you follow and out next to the one you want to fiddle with there is a *settings* button, When the windo pops up, there is a link out to the right of the title blog it says: *stop following this site* another window gives the option to stop following or to cancel the request... hit the *stop following* button and then *done*... hope that helps you to stop following yourself, ...I follow myself all the time, and it is down right confusing...lol

  2. Sandy...welcome to Blogland!!! Thanks soooo much for your comment...you made my day! I know exactly what you mean about reading blogs and blogging changing your life...it is quite the experience isn't it?! I first discovered "a blog" when I googled something and I ended up clicking on Lavender Hill Studio...Penny is the author of that blog. She had this neat blogroll and I was so amazed and thrilled to find all these wonderful souls out there who were so interested in creating a beautiful home. So I know just how you feel! So much to see and learn right at your fingertips! And now you are here with us! :-) Be sure to participate in some of the blog parties going on around Blogland...it's the best and fastest way to have folks find your blog. :-)

P.S. I think you can remove yourself from being a follower of your blog from the dashboard...seems like that's where I've seen that option. Go to your dashboard by clicking on the orange B in the upper left corner of your blog page. From there, I think you'll see a list called "Blogs I'm Following" and click on "manage." I think you do it from there.
