these dishclothes are adorable, what pattern did you use, i love all the colors!
Hi Sherry,Thank you for the sweet comment! I do 7 rounds of granny square stitch then one round of single crochet and then different edges/borders. I get creative with the edges/borders. I like to vary them. I have several pamphlets of dish cloths and edges/borders patterns that I look at and then usually modify one to fit the dish cloth. Sometimes I make up the edge as I crochet. The great thing about crocheting is how creative one can be. If I don't like the edge i pull it out and try another one. Really I'm just a beginner I haven't been crocheting that long at all. I hope that helps you out. Teacup Lane (Sandy)
So glad to have found your blog today. Admiring your pretty dish clothes, and have been thinking of picking up a skein of yarn and a crochet hook just to see if I can still do a granny square...it's been a lot of years since I last tried it!Looking forward to reading here and having you to visit my blog too.
thank you sandy, i will be trying this out!
The dishcloths are lovely as are the colours.I am pushing myself to get 2 blankets & 2 pillows finished for Christmas - ripples, granny and hexagons!!!
