Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm wishing you a most magical Thanksgiving with your loved ones.
I promised to show you some close up photos of my new Disney shoulder bag.
In addition to Tinkerbell - the back has a cute Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
It's just the cutest purse!
It even has a zipper that is multi-colored like a rainbow.
While down at Disney World we took a day off from the parks and went over to the Titanic Museum in Orlando.
This is a copy of the second class china used on the White Star Line's Titanic.
It's in my favorite colors of red and turquoise.
This is the second Titanic Museum we have been to.
We really enjoyed it and recommend it highly if you are in the Orlando area.
This song is almost as addictive as "It's a Small World".
Can you guess what Disney Magic Kingdom attraction it is from?
We came home from Florida to a very cold house.
Our furnace wasn't working.
We got a repairman out the same day and he tried a "fix".
But unfortunately it didn't work and we were freezing again.
Of course with the holiday it would be over a week until they can install the new units but a replacement part was ordered and installed in the old unit yesterday.
We have HEAT again.
However, the writing is on the wall and it's time to replace what we have.
It's just Hubby and I here at Teacup Lane for Thanksgiving.
I'm not fixing a big dinner since it's just the two of us...so no turkey but I'm going to do pork chops with dressing and make a pumpkin pie.
And tomorrow the Christmas season begins!
Here we go again!

Disney & Sparkle
I finished several rounds of my hexagon lap throw, Sparkle, while at Disney and on the road.
I'm on the last round in white.
It takes 54 hexes.
Then I can crochet the edging.
I'll probably go with a simple edge using the three colors.
I've decided to machine-embroider labels for all of my throws.
Now to fit that project in with everything else.
I hope to put the Christmas lights and outside decorations up before Thanksgiving.
We won't turn the lights on until after Thanksgiving.
And I hope to cross Christmas cards off my list too.
That will just leave gifts and indoor decorations after Thanksgiving.
I want to leave you with some more pictures of Ft. Wilderness and Walt Disney World.
We had a blast on this trip
Folks were getting in the mood to start decorating for Christmas at Ft. Wilderness Campground.
For the first time, in a long time, Cinderella's Castle was open to walk through.
I loved the tile mosaics!
I saw someone with one of these early on and just loved it.
But I had no clue where they got it.
As we were walking out of the Magic Kingdom (last time this trip) I spied one.
They were selling them as popcorn containers.
We bought one.
Mickey's hat tips up to get to the popcorn.
And the popcorn was delicious.
First time we tried Disney's popcorn.
Mickey had a birthday in November too!
He looks pretty good for 85!
If you look close you can see my new birthday gift, a Dooney & Bourke Disney shoulder bag.
I went all over the place trying to find the new Vera Bradley Disney bags.
There were two fabrics, one in pink and another in blue.
All I could find in the pink fabric was a large duffle bag which I didn't want.
I didn't care for the blue fabric or the selection of bags available.
Then we were at the Floridian and I found this adorable Disney bag.
Gosh, it was expensive…$128 and it is only fabric vinyl.
But…it is so cute. It has Minnie and Mickey on it.
Tink too and Cinderella's Castle.
I'll have to take a close up photo of it and post it later.
When we went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party we loved the parade.
These marching men were so neat.
After the busy weekend Ft. Wilderness emptied out.
Everything is packed away and we are ready to leave the next morning.
See the serpent by Cinderella's Castle.
The Disney shops were filled with Disney related Christmas items.
Aren't these stockings cute!
Each one was around $90!!!
Too expensive for me but I would love to have them.
And I finish my Disney post with a photo of Hubby and I after the fantastic parade.
Walt Disney World is truly a magical place.
What a great way to celebrate my 67th birthday!

Happy Birthday To ME!
We shared a mouth watering filet mignon lunch at the Brown Derby. I don't know how people eat these big meals they serve now-a-days. We just can't do it anymore.
The Brown Derby is my favorite place to eat at Walt Disney World.
Excellent service, food and NO Disney characters!
Now, I have nothing against character restaurants but there are so many of them here and it's nice to find a quiet, nice restaurant for adults at WDW.
And for my birthday celebration we were served this delicious chocolate mousse cake.
Our park visits have been hassle free using MyDisneyExperience.com to prebook our three Fastpass+ prior to our visit.
They give you several time choices to pick from and then we try to schedule a nice, sit down meal at a park restaurant around the Fastpasses if we can.
Unfortunately, we are finding it's getting more difficult to get a reservation at all.
We tried to get a reservation at the new "Be My Guest" at the Magic Kingdom - nope...nothing available during our whole time here.
Back at Hollywood Studios yesterday we played our favorite game at the 3D "Toy Story Mania".
And I finally got to try a Disney carrot cake cookie!
It's delicious!
I like spending my birthday in Florida because it almost always rains on my birthday at home.
Well, that didn't work out so well this year.
It rained all night and has been a steady rain all this morning.
In Florida (the sunshine state)...on my birthday!!!
We're taking a down day today...just relaxing around Ft. Wilderness.
Hope it stops raining sometime today so we can get a bike ride in.
I'm crocheting another round of turquoise on my hexagon lap throw, "Sparkle".
This round will take 46 hexies.
This throw is eating up yarn like crazy.
Rain or no rain...Walt Disney World is the most magical place to welcome my first day of being 67 !

Best Fireworks Anywhere!
Last Monday we paid extra to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party from 7:00 PM until Midnight.
It was a special night - beautiful weather too.
First we were treated to Cinderella's Castle in green ice...
Followed by blue ice...
And even In purple ice ...
At 9:15 pm the Magic Kingdom Celebration started followed by Fireworks at 9:30 pm.
Disney puts on a fantastic light show reflected directly onto the castle with music and filled with colorful Disney characters.
Here's Alice in Wonderland.
Love this Red, White and patriotic Blue castle.
A candy castle...looks good enough to eat.
How about White snowflakes on a dark blue background.
Add some fantastic fireworks!
Wow!
It takes your breathe away it is so stunning.
This is the closest we have ever been to the castle for the firework.
That's because the crowds are limited on the nights the Magic Kingdom is open only for Mickey's Very Merrry Christmas Party.
It's true you would especially now because they are playing Christmas music!
Or a sunny retirement day!
Good night from Ft. Wilderness!
