I made this Vintage Valentine Wreath today!
It was soooooo easy!
You can download the cute vintage Valentines on Heather Bullard's blog (here).
I stick glued each sheet of Valentines to a sheet of card stock.
Then I cut around each Valentine with my fancy scissors.
Next I added Martha Stewart glitter to the Valentines just using a glue stick.
I found a piece of thick cardboard and used one of those metal compass thingies (with the pointed sharp end and the pencil at the other end) to trace two circles.
I cut out the narrow band of circle and stick glued a piece of red scrapbook paper to it.
I positioned the Valentines on the circle and use glue buttons to attach them to the cardboard circle. A few of the Valentines were attached using foam tape to raise them up.
I put a piece of the foam tape on the back of the cardboard to attach the wreath to our fireplace brick.
What do you think?
Is this cute or what?
I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself and it was super simple to make.
Hop on over to Heather's blog and try it out yourself.

ReplyDeleteSandy I didn't know you did this type art. Wow I'm so impressed with what you made. I'm going to check your link. I made an Easter banner last year per Elizabeth's instructions. I should have made a Valentine one too, I still can. Dropped your little package in a very snow covered mail box today.
