Nan's Valentine Gift

Nan's Valentine Gift!

I received a Valentine gift in the mail yesterday from my dear friend, Nan of Retired in Alaska blog fame.

Hubby and I visited with Bob and Nan during our trip to Alaska last summer.

Meeting Bob and Nan for lunch in Homer,  Alaska!
Nan's adorable Fairy Cottage

I want one!

When I turned Nan's gift package over to open it I found this written on the back by Nan!

Nan and Bob have two Weimaraners, Kalen (the puppy) and Pan (big brother).

Kalen wanted me to know that he helped Nan wrap my gifts.  (Thank you Kalen!)

I'm sure big brother, Pan, supervised.

Aren't these cute gift labels?

I love them!
One side of the Valentine Tag!

Isn't the Hand-Made stamp adorable!

I'm a FAN of yours too Nan!
Two beautifully crocheted butterflies.

They have magnets on the back.  I put them on our refrigerator.

I've never had such a nice tag...it will hang in a special place in my home (and in my heart)!

Thank you Nan for your thoughtfulness in thinking of me.

Such lovely gifts...and being hand-made makes it even more special to me.

Please hop over and visit Nan's blog (here).

You'll get to meet two adorable doggies and a very special couple and learn all about their retired life in our great state of Alaska.

A Surprise For Me!

Tookie Trinkets

Christmas Morning Necklace and Earrings

Recently I had my first Give Away to celebrate my FIRST Blogoversary.

The lucky winner was Jenny - Crochet Lady at Crochet Life.   Jenny was very excited to win and blogged about it (here).

This week hubby and I went Christmas Shopping and when we returned hubby went to the mail box to get our mail.  He came in the door and said I had a package.  I noticed the package was from Jenny.

I was so surprised to discovered that Jenny had sent me one of her one of a kind and unique beautiful handmade jewelry sets, Christmas Morning, in my favorite colors of RED, GREEN and GOLD.

Isn't this necklace gorgeous?

How did Jenny know that I didn't have any Christmas jewelry but always thought about getting some but never got around to it?

I couldn't have picked a prettier necklace and earrings.

Her work is exquisite!

Please visit Jenny's Tookie Trinkets blog (here) where she blogs about her beautiful design creations, her philosophy that women should be treated as royalty and where she promotes awareness of the human trafficking crime.  Please take a look at her affordable and unique creations.  She sells both handmade jewelry and crochet items.

How I Love Red, Green & Gold!

Jenny's thoughtfulness cheered me up and lifted my spirits as I was feeling a little down that day.

Bloggers are truly the most wonderful people in the world.

Thank you Jenny for thinking of me!
I DO feel like a Princess wearing Christmas Morning!
