A beautiful pink rose teacup and saucer, a vintage baby's silver spoon (my hubby's) and a pretty little doily...everything is appropriate for all ladies who love PINK, roses and fine china!

I'm so happy I can share on this Mother's Day this pretty little demitasse teacup and saucer I bought on a trip around the top of the state of Michigan many years ago.

It's Grown to 288 Granny Squares!

Finally...all of the white rounds of the 18 color sets are finished...I even sewed all the dreaded ends in...and packed them in plastic bags.   I first blogged about this WIP (here) and (here).   

I laid them all out on the carpet in rows sorted by 2nd round color.  

You can see the one granny square that I edged in black so far.

Where I didn't want to have the first two rounds the same color I used gray as the second round color in the row (i.e., instead of blue on blue it is gray on blue etc.).   

This WIP measures 16 granny squares by 18 granny squares or 288 granny squares total.   I think it will be a larger sized throw than I originally planned by the time the final black round is added.  I'm not sure if I will do the colors by row as shown here or mix them up more.  It may be a more colorful throw mixed up.
