These images from Flickr inspire me...to someday make a crocheted rug.  

Some of these are made out of T-shirt knit fabric strips.  

Many years ago my sister-in-law gave me a crochet pamphlet on making rugs out of plastic bag strips.  

I hope one of these days I can put this project on my "to do" list.
