Three months after getting our new Pleasure Way travel van we FINALLY went camping!!!
We had a wonderful, long, fun weekend camping out - for the first time - in our new Pleasure Way travel van. We joined a group of Pleasure Way owners at a KOA campground near Hershey, Pennsylvania. The campout almost didn't happened. This area of PA had horrible flooding. The original campground chosen was flooded out and had to close. Even Hershey Park closed. But our tenacious host spent two days hunting up another campground for our large group and bless her heart she found one about 30 minutes from Hershey that could accommodate most of the vans.

We met a nice group of folks from all over - some from Canada and some even as far away as Florida and Texas. Of course, all of them loved their vans, a few have had several over the years. Many travel with their small dogs too.
A couple of group activities were planned over the three nights...a wine and cheese tasting the first evening, dinner out at a nearby restaurant the second night and a potluck gathering the last evening.

The KOA Campground had pancake breakfasts Friday and Saturday mornings.
I didn't even know Hubby took my picture.

Friday Hubby and I went over to the Hershey RV Show.
We had a great time walking around looking at all the RVs.
The day was cooler and probably the nicest weather we ever had at the show.
Usually it is so hot that it just plain tires you out.

Of course, we had to visit the Pleasure Way Dealership where we bought our unit.
It's fun to go through all the different models.
